How the RoseCalm app and this website handle your data. Last updated July 2026.
RoseCalm is a private diary for tracking rosacea flares and their possible triggers. It is built to be privacy-first: the personal information you record lives on your device, not on our servers.
Everything you enter in the app - flares, severity, symptoms, the triggers you tap, notes, and any photos you take - is stored only on your phone. The app has no account and no login. We do not upload, receive, sell, or have any way to access this information. Because this is health-related data, keeping it on-device is deliberate. You can export or permanently delete all of it from within the app at any time.
Subscriptions are sold through the App Store and managed with the help of RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider. To activate your subscription and restore purchases across your devices, RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and your purchase transaction details. This is not linked to your name or to the health data above, and it is never used for advertising or tracking. Payment itself is handled by Apple - we never see or store your card details.
The app contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party analytics. We do not track you across other apps or websites, which is why the app never shows an App Tracking Transparency prompt.
If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you choose to give us, used only to tell you about RoseCalm’s launch and beta. We store it securely, we never sell or share it, and you can ask for deletion anytime by writing to hello@rosecalm.com. Any founding-member payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details, and founding purchases are refundable anytime before launch. No advertising trackers run on this site.
